Who taught the sun
where to stand in the morning?
and who taught the ocean
You can onlyβ comeβ this far?
and whoβ showed the moon
where to hide 'tilβ evening?
whose words alone
can catch a falling star?
[Chorus]
well I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
all of creation testifies
this life within me cries
I know my Redeemer lives
[Verse 2]
the very same God that spins things in orbit
runs to the weary
the worn and the weak
and the same gΠ΅ntle hands
that hold me when I'm brokΠ΅n
they conquer death
to abring me victory
[Chorus]
well I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
let all creation testify
this life within me cries
I know my Redeemer lives
[Post-Chorus]
He lives to take away my shame
and He lives forever I proclaim
that the payment for my sin
was the precious life He gave
but now He's alive
and there's an empty grave
[Chorus]
and I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
let all creation testify this
life within me cries
I know my Redeemer
[Post-Chorus]
He lives so you can live
who's sent out of the grave?
ain't nobody but Jesus
I spoke with Him this morning
I know He lives
I feel Him in the room right now
I know He lives
He lives.

Author's note: this incredible testimony is from the singer Bay Turner's website:
"My journey hasnβt been what I expected, but Iβm grateful for every step. After being discovered on Americaβs Got Talent and BETβs Sunday Best, Iβve had the privilege of sharing my music with the world, but itβs been a road full of both triumphs and trials.
Growing up, I was inspired by the soulful sounds of artists like Donny Hathaway, Luther Vandross, and Stevie Wonder. My love for music deepened in college, and after earning my degree, I had the chance to work with young artist programs at major opera houses. As my faith grew, I began leading worship with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, which felt like a dream come true.
But everything changed when I had surgery to remove two benign tumors from my chest, and one of my vocal cords was damaged. Doctors told me I might never sing again. For months, I stayed silent, but through that time, my faith was tested and strengthened. Miraculously, my vocal cords healed, and I was able to sing again.
That experience taught me something crucial: my identity isnβt tied to my voice. God had to show me that itβs not just about talent, but trusting Him in everything. Now, Iβm here to use the gifts Heβs given me to bring Him gloryβ100% in His hands, and just a faithful servant doing my part."
Amen.
βShout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises.
Sing to the Lord with the harp, With the harp and the sound of a psalm,
With trumpets and the sound of a horn; Shout joyfully before the Lord, the King.
Let the sea roar, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell in it; Let the rivers clap their hands;
Let the hills be joyful together before the Lord,β.
