My only Phantom

It's getting colder now

I'm standing in place

Watching you holding a rose and a blade

Your thumb trying to crush thorns

I wanna get close to you

I know we've been there before

And I admired you

How your hair shines in the rain

Holding your smile in pictures

So what are you waiting for?

You finally see me from across the hall now

And I know your glass eyes are darting around

But I got plenty of time to waste

I'll keep whispering in your ear

Praying for every tear you drop

Just to look at me again, and feel hopeful

You always turn your back, never look here

I've been a stranger for years and I didn't even get to hear you anymore

The songs that plague your mind

Your voice trying to sharpen the air

I love to listen and make your skin become glamourous

So what will you do?

Break me or take me?

Forget who you were, or become unforgettable like before.
