My life and loss became
entertainment for people who
once called themselves friends.
They devoured my flesh
and wore my shame like a trophy.
The people I loved danced
across my heart
until there was nothing
left but broken pieces.
For a long time,
I stopped recognizing
myself.
I became quiet.
Emotionless.
Alone.
Just a shell of the
woman I used to be.
But slowly…
I started finding
the pieces again.
One by one.
And somewhere between
the grief and the silence
I found myself.
Now I rise differently.
Not untouched.
Not unbroken.
But finally…
whole enough to fly again.
