My Imaginational Guardian Angel

By Justin Bridges

In an ocean of fire and through the flames of manifestation

Undomesticated and broken he awaits with patience and anticipation.

But Just the thought of her wings makes him nonchalantly crack a smile

As he sits with hopelessness in his eyes like the innocence of a child.

His life is like he dies every night imagining love was acquired,

His eyes was cold as ice but his passion was on fire.

She only comes in his dreams and occasional nightmares.

He’s thankful and grateful

As he puts on his invisible halo

And gets ready for his visit from his significant angel.

Just The simple thought of company turns his flames lukewarm.

Survived several earthquakes, tsunamis and a few thunder storms.

They call it a false sense of hope but it really doesn’t matter

As other demons surround him with sin and loud laughter.

His mental health is showing as he realizes he’s one of the chosen.

He carved guardian angel on his arm just to show his love and devotion.

Spiritual or metaphysical, why so philosophical for?

As he prays

The blessings somehow silences the screams and psychological wars.

But since misery loves company he no longer cries tears

As the angel kisses him on his forehead as he’s likely to die here.

So anxious to escape from reality because the emotions run deep.

As she visits him in his dreams, he falls in love and falls asleep.

Nightmares when she’s not there, is she mad at him? Because I don’t know today

And somehow her in particular presence makes the pain go away.

They have a mythical relationship but she’s one of the best ones to hold.

So is he lucid dreaming or having another manic episode.

She’s waiting at heaven’s gate and he’ll see her when he gets there,

With 8 protons in her nucleus, she’s just a breath of fresh air.

She asks him how’s he been as he replies and says "fine”.

His anxiety feels like life and death occurring somehow at the same time.

He sings “shall we last for life one day if I have you”.

He feels great with no complaints as they rejoice through time travel.

They sing songs with the highly supernatural as whatever needed, it works.

He might be somewhat incredulous but he surely believes in her.

She sits at the Pearly gates of the fully flowered garden so satiny, honest and special.

He means the world to himself and his confidence is unmeasurable.

She’s his only friend until the very end and together they fight forces,

As she rides off on her cherry like chariot with her Aura of Camarillo white horses.

This moment quite frankly doesn’t last forever, so don’t act surprised.

Because the thought of simply seeing her again will someday bring him back alive.

With the nearsightedness of sacrifice as he’s dying for his girl,

His imaginary angel protects him when he’s outside fighting the world.

He promised his imaginary angel Integrity, loyalty and last but not least, to stay safe.

They say he lost his mind but self isolation is his safe place.

So what would life be without one’s presence? I’m mandatory regardless of my prior or past mistakes,

Because believing in yourself at the end of the day is really all it takes.

This never was supposed to be, some will say a ghost to me

But still I feel and know she’s real as she prays and watches over me.

He doesn’t want to, nor care to die, he just wanted to have a confidant to call a friend.

And if he doesn’t die tonight she might visit him again.
