My heart sings secretly

My eyes are fatigued.

Tears do as they please on my face.

Sadness is like the meal I eat every day.

Poverty is what troubles me most.

I have no one in this world.

Tomorrow, I might try to manage.

Just like any other day.

I am not sure what is ahead.

Sometimes I just want to die.

So my soul might slumber peacefully.

Happiness is what I dream about in my sleep.

The smile on my face is not real.

My heart sings secretly.

A chorus of grief and sadness.

Love and luck have never been on my side.

Nobody loves me or even likes me.

I'm like a cursed elderly person.

Yet, I'm still young.
