My Father Told Me...

By: Jonathan Hinternish

My father told me someday I will have.

Land and food A-Plenty.

And a woman who shall take my hand.

My father told me.

Be brave and head strong just like me.

Forever powerful I shall always be.

My father told me, never run or hide.

I shall wear my scars with honor and pride.

My father told me one day I shall die.

Do many great things he said.

And be remembered shall I.

My father told me.

In Valhalla when I arrive.

Forever my soul shall fight on.

Forever I shall live on.

And never shall I die!

My father told me...
