My Ear Transplant

I beg for this evil to be reversed

My Ear Transplant

After the accident, I lost my ears,

They said a transplant could restore

all of what was lost.

Paid for and promised,

a gift to hear again,

now I walk with the dark.

I cannot hear the laughter,

only whispers of the night,

I walk between the voices,

between cries and sighs.

In place of sound,

a haunting silence,

These ears, now like eyes,

see only the unseen.

Every time I listen,

a whisper draws near,

Taking me to places that ghost dance.

I walk through the silence,

through the darkness of sound,

I wonder if I’ll ever find light again.

In every step, my life feels distant,

A symphony of silence,

yet a cacophony of shadows.

I hear the whispers of the past,

the echoes of a life I can’t reclaim,

And in the quiet, I find a new reality,

one that’s both haunting and profound.

Yet within this darkness,

there’s a strange kind of sight,

A deeper understanding,

a vision beyond the senses.

And as I journey

through this new realm of sound and silence,

I learn to see the world in ways I never knew I could.
