Hello, community!
I wrote this poem several years ago now. It was written in a particular context, because at the time there was a major news story in my country. Horses were deliberately mutilated.
That’s why I wrote this poem in what I call a ‘polemical’ register, given the almost implausible situation.

Monster, why so much inhumanity?
What do you expect to have Humanity?
It is man’s most noble conquest
Of man, a massacre at its maximum
Oh, you still have dignity!
From Yvelines to the Monster Sum, why so many inhumanities?
This violence! Here’s the opium, Demon, sadistic! Give them an apple!
Horses, so no crime?
Nevertheless, equality is ordered.
Monster, why so much inhumanity?
