A poem about music

A speaker for every chore

walking out the door plugged in

concerts a plenty to see

options are many to spin

*

the melody of reverb

the superb beating of drums

The Bass maintaining rhythm

The singer's voice raining hums

*

When I'm feeling somewhat down

Forgotten frown disappears

smiling up to the music

my own acoustic appears

*

A tune for every feeling

the healing songs of despair

uplifting inspiration

Across the nation fresh air

*

the fresh air of hope and love

From above and to my feet

maybe just a fantasy

my reality tastes sweet

*

A sweet taste for a playlist

can't resist the joy of dance

bopping around by myself

around me nobody else

*

A concert of one tonight

the bright sounds illuminate

my body and mind see clear

the sounds I can hear dilate

*

St. Vincent sings of her New York

Up next Bjork's own heartbreak

Then Little dragon's feather

swimming black lake together

About the Creator

Hywel Latimyr

I kinda suck at writing but I enjoy it

Anyway, here's a dumb little haiku:

The gunslinger draws

His opponent does the same

oh dear, they both died
