Inspiration
From her tuneful spring
It skitters
Electric rays
Strike me hard
To the fragmentation of
My spirit
I let it clear the way
Reconstructing the hidden reality
Stored on an internal drive
Programmed at my creation
Hiding behind my heart
Ruling my mind
But never functioning by design
Frequent shutdowns
A secret backup folder
Password protected
Yet I'm not the passkey holder
Her power bypassed my locks
Breaching my most sensitive files
Allowing me access
Through her musical key
Sending static to block out
My screaming self-doubt
I allow all my fears to escape
Like the doom of the world flowed
From the amphora's broken seal
Shocked as I attempt to see
My contents in her sparking light
At least I'm left with wisps of hope
For the first time, crackling
New hope imbues my eyes
