drowning my sorrows in
the golden mead of sages
slipping into
the flickering backlit
stream of endless ages
past and present
merge and splash
words slick and
intoxicating
collide in a
gravity-defying crash
surface tension repelling
rivulets of recognition
and whole cloth creation
flowing, swirling together
yet, never co-mingling
their contrasting
complexions
splattering
defined
on the concrete
duo chromatic smearing
evaporating
in a sun-fried conduction
