MurderVerse
Gotta Write
"You Too Can Be a Writer"
A book filled with beautiful nuggets of wisdom
Like "Be prepared with all the tools needed"
Gun
Shovel
Duct tape
Rope
Blanket
Johnny prepared his desk the night before
Yellow Legal Pads
Paper
Writing instruments
Reference books: Dictionary, Thesaurus
Bullets
Butcher knife
For good measure, Johnny included an unopened box of cookies
In case he got hungry
Mineral water by Jove
A shot of Method and Madness - Mother Courage
"Rid one's self of any excuse to leave the writing desk"
Do what you gotta do
The last chapter, four words: "Now write, right now"
He could feel her heart beating fast
And faster
He could taste her fear
Blood pumping through her veins
Fear rising up in both their hearts
He/She
Never more alive than right now
In the moment of struggle
He places his hands on the keys of his newly purchased laptop
Prepared for the moment
They fight
She kicks
Screams
He misspells a word
Autocorrect
His hands tighten around her neck
She makes a wheezing sound
She goes limp
He kisses her cheek
She's gone
He's spent
Johnny opens the box of cookies
Drinks his Joven
Digs a grave
Places her in the ground
Covers her over with earth
Small carbon footprint
Such a small girl
Once home he takes a shot of Method and Madness
And sleep helps him forget
A girl he could have loved
But killed instead, Full stop
