Murder in the Morning
By Meko James Published 2 years ago • 1 min read

The Morning Traffic
Flight flocks pepper the pale haze of the blue early morning sky.
They belligerently fill the firmament with chaotic caws and cries.
A clammy wetness greets my face, compliments of a southern swell.
The heavy atmosphere holds the river ragweed and sawgrass smell.
Irascible until coffee's savor, forstalls murder in the morning.
