Mummy Went Running This Morning...
Through The Eyes Of Babes
Mummy went running dis morning,
though she never said she would.
I didn’t see her stretch first,
though I really think she should.
Mummy went running dis morning.
It’s one of her favourite things to do;
To get dwessed in her running clothes,
and put on her fancy shoes.
Mummy rent running dis morning,
when we were playing in the park.
She didn’t tell us we were racing;
No one was ready on their mark.
Mummy went running dis morning.
Just broked out into the fastest run!
Though she wasn’t really smiling...
I don’t think she was having fund.
Mummy went running dis morning,
It took us both by big surprise!
She jumped up from the bench,
with scares betweened her eyes.
Mummy went running dis morning,
When we bumpted down the slide.
She shouted with her outside voice,
‘Oh, my god! Kids, quickly, hide!’
Mummy went running dis morning,
To help the yellow-haired, nice lady.
She ran faster than I've ever seen,
and screamed to save her baby.
Mummy went running dis morning.
She practices; she’s quick!
Though I’ve never seen her bend before,
and pick up a great big stick.
Mummy went running dis morning,
towards the angry man...
Who hit that yellow haired lady,
and pushed over her pretty pram.
Mummy went running dis morning.
She was shouting really loud!
About picking on someone his own size,
and how he must be a 'cow-ard?'
Mummy went running dis morning,
And she was lightning quick!
She used her big emotions,
and hit the grown man with her stick!
Mummy went running dis morning.
The big man pushed her, and she fell!
Her body cwashed into the floor,
and she hit her head as well.
Mummy went running dis morning,
as the neenors grew really loud!
Another daddy stopped the big man -
He was yelling ‘are you proud?’
Mummy went running dis morning.
She didn’t use her kindest hands!
That’s how she got her ouchie,
from her toys now, she’ll be banned!
Mummy went running dis morning;
It made us both feel really sad.
Why did she have to hit him with a stick?
Doesn’t she know that fighting’s bad?
