Mother Nature & Her Senses

one in the same

"How do I know who I am?"

I whispered to Mother Nature.

When you're feeling lost and unsure,

Who better to ask than your creator?

I closed my eyes and listened closely,

Waiting for my answer

I hoped for peace and serenity,

But what I found was much greater.

I heard the wind, the rustling trees

I heard them sing a song for me.

I inhaled the breeze and smelled the pines

I slowly felt myself realign.

I felt the earth beneath my feet

The connection felt like electricity.

I looked above and saw the dancing clouds,

My mind and body felt closer now

The forest walls were familiar to the taste

I felt little less displaced.

I then heard Mother Nature sweetly sing,

"you know just who you are,

and when you feel lost you dont have to look very far.

You are me, I am you. Everything you need is already within you.

Step outside and feel me near,

I'll never let you forget

That we are all one in the same, in every single sense."
