Morning Has Broken
Morning has broken,
Hello, brand-new day.
I woke up feeling lost,
You’ll show me the way.
Lots of things to do outside
On a bright summer’s day.
So come on, dear sunshine,
Show me the way.
Be grateful for the day
When you awake,
Because the world is yours,
And yours to take.
Each new day brings
Surprises galore,
And no matter what today brings,
Tomorrow brings you more.
So be happy,
Open your eyes with a big, beaming smile,
And be glad that you’re part of this human race,
This world, for a while.
