Morning Circumference

Poem

By Canuck Scriber Lisa LachapellePublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

A general in the morning is scorching out ideas

Turning minuscules into madams then becomes a quick-release

Swiftly changing venues walking hand in hand along a path next to manicured lawns that aren't here

Striking rhythm in concordance, a highlight of my dream. Showing me a note I cannot read as my father above watches over

Adrift in gratitude

Wait a second

A whisper in the night, something different, telling me what not to do

A change in armoured view

Then, a young native spirit from at least a hundred years ago like a young dove flying gleefully through the bush, then she gets lifted way up in the light

A group of Stormtroopers making their way through the trees

The storm begins

How was your dream?
