A bridge to somewhere....
Delaware has legs and she is walking.
The state just takes steps across the bridges.
As she ambles, she is steady talking.
Her gait is like horses on the ridges.
Diminutive in size, she never does
Rest when Maryland sees her wandering.
Other states seek forever like it was
She who could then march along pondering.
Pennsylvania, and New Jersey are so
Close to her walking patterns made right now.
She shows her strut that continues to go.
Her petite frame exhibits when and how.
The second smallest state in the Union,
Her sacredness is more than Communion.
