It was dark, but I could see.

Surprisingly there was another me,

Somehow, I knew this was a dream.

I also knew we had to agree,

For me and her to be free.

A few steps later, she was nowhere to be seen.

The other me had decided to disagree.

Not scared, I continued only me.

Until I got to a door, and I was undersea.

Then I heard the name, Rosemarie.

I turned around and all around was water from the sea.

It continued to rise and soon enough I could not breathe,

So, I swarm, and I decided to float as well as flee

From the water trying to get over the sea.

Almost there but then, no it was not to be.

The second me was holding my legs and a key

I did not struggle cos she called Mi Lady

‘You and not I am the nominee’.

I stretched my hands to touch a strawberry tree

I heard her say ‘that’s the family tree

Don’t break it or we will miss the Nepalese rupee’.

Then we hugged and in the Caribbean Sea

Became one to some degree

Away from us swarm a Menominee.

Moving so fast holding one knee.

Turning to throw a ripe ackee.

Following, I knew this was crappy.

But when he said ‘you need to be our Ranee’

Then to me, he was no longer beastly.

His smile made me weak, even bleary.

No strength to move, and my eyes became teary.

When I decided to fight, I became mighty.

One scream kept all at bay, even the wily.

Eyes opened, everywhere shining so brightly.

The full moon is round and so sightly.

THE END.
