Moon Crazy

Tip tapping at the door..

Tip tapping at the door

His eyes shine, never more

Gusting wind, cracks the bone

As the body hits the floor

The moon glow sets hearts afire

With the taste of murderous glee

He steps in time with a stuttering heart

But finds no peace beyond the door

It stains his teeth

His mouth dry as dust

The heart's blood masks the pain

That tears the soul

Moon crazy, he stalks the night

Blood singing in his ears

The beast knows no fear

A taste of death that cuts the soul

His howl chills the innocent

With an unknown dread

The wolf among us stalks the night

Long teeth flashing bright

The end is quick

Sharp as the knife

Silver pain and cruel delights

Forgotten in the morning glow

How sharp the grief

For the lost one's soul

Tainted by the taste of flesh

The beast has no regrets
