In the depths of the jungle, where trees reach the sky,
There lived a mischievous monkey, oh my, oh my!
With a twinkle in his eyes and a grin so wide,
He swung through the branches, his joy couldn't hide.
From dawn till dusk, he played and he leaped,
Causing chaos and laughter wherever he crept.
He'd steal bananas from unsuspecting souls,
Then dance on tree branches, as if in control.
His tail, long and curly, swished in the air,
As he swung to and fro, without a single care.
He'd mimic the humans with such great delight,
Copying their actions with all of his might.
One day, he stumbled upon a mirror so clear,
And saw his reflection, bringing him great cheer.
He jumped up and down, full of wild glee,
Thinking he'd found a monkey just like he.
He made faces and gestures, trying to be sly,
But the mirror monkey copied his every try.
Round and round they went, in this playful duel,
Monkey and his mirror, acting like a fool.
But alas, his enthusiasm got the best of him,
He jumped a bit too high, his aim went dim.
He crashed into the mirror, oh what a sight,
Leaving him dazed, with stars shining bright.
He rubbed his sore head, feeling quite the dunce,
Realizing that mirror monkeys were no real fun.
But the jungle laughed, at his hilarious spree,
For the mischievous monkey brought smiles and glee.
So remember this tale, of a monkey so funny,
Whose antics brought laughter to all, oh how sunny!
In the heart of the jungle, his legacy remains,
A playful reminder that life's meant for games.
