Put a monkey in a suit;

watch him dance

watch him prance.

Can't you catch the beat?

His handler rewards him

the crowds adore him.

His worth made by views,

this is the life he clings to.

Put a monkey in a suit

cover his colors

to mask him from others.

This is the dressings of success.

The monotony bores,

but the stability scores

invisible chains he's cuffed to.

Whatever else shall he do?

Put a monkey in a suit

he must behave

or it’s back to the cave;

this is his one shot to be great.

Just stay in line

and it’ll all be fine.

You're not alone.

Look, see, everyone else is too.
