Mom, do you love me?

You asked me today

Of course I love you

I began to say

Why do you love me?

You asked me then

Well, let me think and

I started to grin

Is it because I am smart?

You asked with pride

You are very smart

But that is not why

Is it because I am so cute?

You wanted to know

You are very cute

But I have to say no

Is it because I am brave and

I don't cry a lot?

You are very brave

But I must say not

Well why then Mom?

You asked with a smile

I love you dear one

Because you are my child
