A Mirror Facing A Mirror Facing A Mirror

Part IV: The Rent

Hey You!

I think; I found your tongue!

Smashed, between the wheel,

and the pavement

Simmering for an entire summer

Though you may not believe

For -you- are wrong

Be-cause It, is All;

That: keeps you safe

Though the sun, Will

come up once more

Then we won't have to be here anymore

Between hammers and poison tongues

-

Just rape me, rape me

Call it what you will

An equal trade: some where none

Abandon the building and what we've done

-

"If I say it, will you say it back to me?"

-

"Ok.. I will shut my mouth."

-

Time to pay the rent...

(You have to believe in your own lie to make it in this city)

-

In the end, “It” is just a mirror facing a mirror facing a mirror.
