Misty Moon

Dream Fragments

By Tryna WeissPublished 4 years ago • 1 min read

Deep, deep, I sleep

Enshrouded in fog and mystery

Peeking through the misty clouds

The moon is peeking down at me

Drifting, drifting, down I go

Enveloped, twirling down a rabbit hole

Visions of show of both friends and foe

From places where I used to know

Reaching, searching , I grasp at strings

To anchor myself on a positive thing

As I fall and twist and turn to see

Hoping that somehow, I capture thee

Slowly waking to the streak of light

Which covers the moon so bright

Remembering, clinging to all I dreamt

Only bits and pieces appear in my attempt

surreal poetry
