Missing My Buddy

A girl and her dog

By O. MasonPublished 2 years ago 1 min read
When is she coming back?

We play fetch together with my favorite ball.

She lets me chew on her hand.

We dance together.

I chase her around the house.

She takes me for walks.

And when it's over, I play dead so that the fun doesn't end.

She left the other day.

They told me she went to summer camp.

What is that and when will she be back?

A week they said. How long is that?

What's that noise? Who's at the door?

Is that her?

No, it's my other human.

I miss my buddy.

I don't want to leave my crate right now.

I'll just wait right here for her to come back.
