Miracle in the Flames

Not everything in life is good. But you can take something good from everything in life.

Flames high

Choking smoke

Devastation

In a flash

Everything gone

A house

Takes a house

Trembling with fear

Fear of everything lost

Years of work

A lifetime, burnt and lost

But no

What’s this

There, paper left so carelessly

Unkept by the naivety of a child

Protected by fate

Manuscripts

Papers that should have burned

Been drowned

Protected

By a flimsy thing

Called luck
