Mine

A Little Moment

My hand wrapped in yours

Your hand wrapped in mine

A tiny glimpse

A tiny sigh

A moment frozen

In time.

I wrote for you

A line that said

My love for you will never end

I held it close and blew a kiss

Your heart in mine

Wrapped in a bow.

The bow untangled

And slips to the side

An opened box

Shimmering light

This blinding light

A sight to behold

Forever more.

Gardenia Rose

In my mind's eye, I'm sitting in a quaint café in Madrid, watching the sky turn from baby blue to hues of purple and pink as I sip on a delicious Spanish hot chocolate. My dog, Mabel, is resting under my wicker chair as I reflect on life.
