Its midnight
I crouch my head down under the covers because my anxiety increases at night
No, my mind doesn't do me right
But that's life
I lay in the bed with strife
Fighting the fantasy of being someone's wife
Wishing my mind stop wondering
This cycle is so troubling
Seems like my success is fumbling
But I know God is still working
Even when it seems like my life is broken
The blessings are still coming
So I need to stop worrying
Remembering human connection is important
That's why I keep longing
On social media looking for something
Realizing it's keeping me from growing
It's midnight, so is it good night or good morning?
