Midnight Sunrise

Woman exalted

By Colleen WaltersPublished 2 years ago Updated 2 years ago 1 min read

her dark hair cascaded across the pillow and flowed onto the bed as she laid down.

As she turned to stare at the sky, the moon light spilled across her body in the darkness. And she became a symphony of light and shadows.

The tears glistened as they fell down her face when she thought of love lost and love yet to be.

She gazed on the shape of her body, never having seen it bathed in the Moonlight, and the chorus of a thousand angels covered her with love and adoration.

She felt renewed and alive for the first time in a long time, as her emerging spirituality was exalted by the universe.

As she slowly drifted off to sleep, the moon kept watch over her with the light of the sun showing her off to the stars.

In the silence a voice softly whispered “you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are loved beyond measure. You are enough. “
