Midnight Madness

Stars in the sky and darkness surround

Its midnight ol' Jack, and no where a sound

Knowing here I have no bound

In this land, we're here to astound

Flying through pasters, above the ground

Knowing I am queen to be crowned

or maybe I'll fall or find something profound

Wait! What's that? A merry-go-round?

A fair, filled with food golden and browned

Lost in the madness that makes me spellbound

I wake with a start, sat up and frowned

A song from my memory of the fairground

I smile knowing the moon faded into the background

Oh well, until next Midnight comes around
