Midnight Garden

A Poem

By Parsley Rose Published 12 months ago • 1 min read

A bouquet of bold contrasts and dreams,

Where orange flames dance with sapphire beams,

A sunflower glows with golden dust,

While purple roses bloom in twilight's trust.

Black ribbons twist through petals bright,

The reflection of a ghost catches the light,

Autumn and midnight, hand in hand,

A wild arrangement, perfectly unplanned.

Not soft pastels or subtle hues,

But electric blues and sunset views,

Each flower fierce, each leaf unique—

A celebration that refuses to be meek.
