Writing

the pen wants to write,

papers are waiting,

thoughts are circulating

words are on a break!

*

box

the warriors, survivors of the past

the greatest amongst the species of the earth

superior emotional intelligence holder

the inventors, the moon-steppers, the Mars adventurer of the future

are trapped inside a box in their hands.

*

Bridge

distance between you and me,

10 meters perhaps,

I can see your window; you can see mine,

and our hearts connected in-between.

*

Calculation

a challenge was thrown to me,

reward, we will be together forever.

The obstacle!

jumping towards you,

every time —

half of the remaining distance

starting from the beginning,

10 meters not that far,

I jumped the half, 5 meters to go,

When will I reach you?

*

Glasses

shattered in pieces

probably the power of my eyes caused that

as I was looking too deeply

to the inner pain of the past.

*

Questions

Where do we come from?

Where will we go?

What’s there to gain?

Why it’s so hard to relieve my pain?

Too many unnecessary innocence all-around.

*

Gibberish tales

Narrator: ‘Once there was a fisherman,

he was intelligent and strong.’

Little Girl: ‘Why was there no fisherwoman?’

Narrator: ‘Okay, Once there was a fisherwoman,

she was intelligent and strong.’

Little Girl: ‘So, she is not here now!

She is not strong and intelligent at present!’

Narrator: ‘Sure, Once there was a fisherwoman,

and she still lives in,

she was intelligent and strong, she still is.’

Little Girl: ‘But, what is a fisherwoman?’

Narrator: ‘Then, you tell me the story, please.’

Little Girl: ‘Nah, tell me a story from a book then,

like, Snow White or Aladdin!’

Narrator: :(

*

Football

scored a goal

not to the goalpost,

but to finish the poem at-last.
