Metamorphosis

It's really hard to see

who climbs the tree

To enter a cocoon is their greatest boon

Growth cannot be forced

Otherwise, it will not be endorsed

A metamorphosis takes time

amorphous as they are

and limitless as they may be

What you will see

when you fly out of the tree

on your own wings

Instead of the clouds, you're riding

being able to see the sky

not just the clouds because you're too high

looking down at the land

is quite grand

You have to let yourself go into that shell

let yourself go into a cocoon

instead of following the raccoon

for if you're stuck on the ground

you'll never make it around the

the planet we live on

so leave those on the ground

for the raccoon

and climb the tree

Go into a cocoon

Nourish yourself, and you'll see

that you'll grow wings of your own

and when you finally do

you'll wonder who has seen you grown

That's when you will be able to be free

Then they all will see
