Merry-go-round

Day 14 of 365

By Ellie HoovsPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

Round and round

up and down

as a child - it was enchanting,

never knowing which horse you’d be racing.

Then you grow up

and you long for the steadfast one.

It’s total hell

being caught on your carousel

never knowing if you’ll be sun or clouds

so there’s never enough merry…

to go around.
