Memory of a Town

There were so many...

By JASPERPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

There used to be a town,

that slowly faded away.

The houses disappeared

like vampires in the light of day.

The people were nowhere to be found,

yet they were there.

You could hear the wolves howling,

howling at the bloody red moon that night.

But nothing felt quite right.

This town,

this town seemed so empty at first sight.

But was it really?

My mind was screaming,

I could feel it,

I could feel that there was no way I was alone here.

Frantically looking around, I finally saw them.

I saw them staring at me.

There were so many.

Was I dreaming? No,

I could feel it,

I could feel that this was real.

But was it really?
