Growing up...

I was out for a walk outside my home, and came across a boy no more than four,

He was crying outside and said to me, he hates being second born. That he wasn't wanted anymore.

I said to him it's okay, you'll love your siblings everyday. The boy looked up at me, he said thanks mister and then he had to flee.

Sometime later I also saw a boy, who looked twelve or so, he turned to me with no joy, he said to me nobody cared, that his dreams were in disrepair.

I looked at him strangely, what a verbose vocabulary! I said to him flow your dreams, that you can anything.

The boy looked at me with fire in his eyes, He said thanks mister and dashed off

On my walk I saw a young man, a teenager who looked so sad, he turned me and said, all of his friends abadoned him, the one he liked most hated him.

I pat him on the shoulder and said, you can make more friends, plus honestly you never know, maybe they'll come back and you can show them how much you've grown.

The young man shed a tear, he wiped it away and had no fear, he thanked me then ran away, gosh it's been an eventful day.

Right before I came back home, I saw someone looking forlorn, he seemed to be the same age as me and he looked so unhappy.

He said he reached all his goals, that he worked harder than them all. Went through so many hardships, he had to be bold.

Whether if it was being unloved, or following his dreams, losing his friends or just trying to be happy, he kept going even with his fear that his perfect ending wasn't near.

He said he lost something special something he held dear, something that determination can't repair.

I didn't know what to say, to the man before me today.

I sat right next to him and he dissapeared, all that was left me right here.

I was unhappy

I had no more joy

My dreams were in disrepair.

The fire in my eyes were nowhere near.

Did I even manage to grow?

At this point I don't even know.
