Columbia Glacier
trip, blue ice, water, and sky
Climate change meltdown.
*******************************************
Memorial Day weekend 1977, we were exploring Alaska and went on an impromptu trip to Valdez, Alaska. Arriving at the harbor as a small cruise ship was about to leave, quickly, we purchased four tickets; and off we went on a three-hour tour of Prince William Sound and Columbia Glacier.
Today, the Columbia Glacier is flowing into the ocean with larger icebergs breaking off. Climate change is affecting glaciers around the world.
