Meles Meles

A childhood

I know the earth, its gentle flow

Its soft touch and its blanket

A sea of leaves chirping perfumes

Its armada of thieves and friends

Giving me scars and feasts

In the peaceful terror of my own home

Some say I change shapes

Some say I dont change

A bag of claws and teeth

A hunt, a chase, or a tease

Marked barks map me forever

Eating the man who told me I will die alone

Eat, sleep, dreams coming undone
