Me and My Personality
A poem about me
I love writing poetry,
creative short fiction too
a grandmother's delight
that you'll read here
as I share my stories
on Vocal Media.
On Saturdays,
I have one glass of red wine or two.
Chocolate is scrumptious
but it's not really allowed.
I'm diabetic eating healthy
salads, fish, chicken, and vegetables.
It keeps my glucose down.
Blueberries are yummy
especially mixed in Greek Yogurt.
It's my go-to food and
it's a scrumptious, healthy treat.
I've learned to be patient since
suffering from Covid19.
I've had it just once
and it gave me a hacking cough
with firey infected ears,
a troublesome hurting,
a dizzy time,
I never want it again.
I'm grateful.
I love to travel
and now is the time
for restrictions have settled
around the world,
making it possible.
Exploring the English countryside
is what I love doing.
I also love drinking green tea as it
helps me feel good,
releasing the stress out of my body
making it whole,
giving me energy,
helping me to be free of diseases
helping me to be healthy.
Hot spices aren't the best for me
but if it's mild,
it's fine.
I have three brothers,
two sons, two grandsons,
males everywhere
to adore and spoil.
No other girls except
my mother
in my family
but it's fine
as I have my writing
that I do
each and every day.
