I've not showed you this poem,

And you may never see it.

I don't want the attention,

So don't rush to read it.

I'm not always home,

Just know that I care,

I love you so dearly,

And I'll always be there.

You helped me grow up,

I love you so crazy.

You've done so much,

Since I was a baby.

You picked me up,

When I would cry.

I'm so sorry,

For the times that I lie.

You made me strong,

And changed my nappy.

You brought me sweets,

To keep me happy.

Mum cooks me food,

When I was ill.

Dad poured me drinks,

That I wouldn't spill.

I care so much,

Not sure how to show it.

I get worried at times,

That I need to prove it.

I'm proud of you mum,

For you look after me,

Taking me around,

Even to A & E.

I look up to you dad,

As you've done well.

You made sure the roof,

Over our heads never fell.

You both have three boys,

Who don't show that they're glad.

To have the most wonderful,

Beautiful mum and dad.

I love you guys.
