Shades of maroon vary,

From a bluish hint in a ripe cranberry,

To the purplish hue in the sleekest new shoes.

, but how do I compliment?

I am neither here nor there, but always reappear.

Talk of death slides by slyly,

As my blue aroma floats up high.

Darkness shadows me whole,

But unlike you I see the light,

should this set me a fright.

Scattered thoughts I don’t know who I am. So who am I?

Blueish like my said aroma?

Kind, smart, sad, youthful and true,

Or should I await to meet the full you?

Red, like the waters of Moses that I’ve read?

Angry, violent, mischievous, sexy, a leader.

Oh what a combine, though those tails will be said true in time?

Black, the mystery, the magic, lies the chaos some create?

Dark, scary, frightening, deathly, goth and hate

All these things make you sound so sinful.

What else do you see in maroon?

Is it too dark to even compare?

Mind wondering for conclusion on conclusions, for scenarios you mask in that global head.

When you stare at the color maroon, who do you see?

Is it you? Is it me? Or is it someone you’ve never even seen?

Your mind is now full, but full of what?

Time shadows by leaving you in a sigh.

Dark flashes, bright flashes you can’t even deny .

But from the outside all you do is stare.

What is the last shirt you saw that was maroon?

Was it something you would even wear?,

Was it your dads your moms?

Was it printed with bombs?

Dynamite maybe. They’re nice a maroony

Add a spark or a flame and don’t go near thee

At this point you’re crying.

Crying from not blinking,

From thinking,

From simply just being.

So where do I go from here?

Purple, pops up in fear?

Wealth, wisdom, creativity, passionate, driven,

But have you forgiven?

Forgiven your self, forgiven the past, forgiven everything that makes you not want to last?

Maroon is powerful, and so is your mind.

It wonders, it slide.

All of these thoughts awaken from the wonders of my mind.

This is the Abis

So this is where I hiss,

Slide like a snake creeped into your mind,

Laying eggs of thoughts for them to become yours and mine.

This is the state of my mind.

But my mind doesn’t stop here.

Oh no that’s just too bear.

Instead it wonders to the green hint in the maroon fonder.

The green light on the trees at night,

Reminding me of the brave souls of the rebellious, maroon tribe.

Shallow, deep, slaty, blue the hills and mountains protected their hues.

So I am maroon, you can be maroon, my thoughts are maroon.

With these thoughts it may be asked did my brain develop too soon.

Maroon is the color of mystery and wonder just like my brain.

Which when I stare we know it won’t be plain.

So I am maroon

I AM MAROON

By choice I will be a reminder of life and death which is the forebear of our existence.

Live we may

Die we must

As maroon blood settles

We return to dust

Maroon are my thoughts.
