Marmalade's Lakeside Adventure

Fishing, Feasting, and Feline Fun!

By Tale WeaverPublished 4 months ago 1 min read

In a meadow by the water's edge,

A chubby cat with fur like sedge.

With a twinkle in his round, bright eyes,

He dreams of fish and big blue skies.

_ _

His name is Marmalade, so sweet,

A fluffy furball with dainty feet.

With a tummy that jiggles as he prances,

He dreams of fishing and lucky chances.

_ _

One sunny day by the tranquil lake,

Marmalade set up for a fishy break.

A tiny rod held in his pudgy paw,

He cast it out with a confident draw.

_ _

The bobber bobbled, the line drew tight,

Marmalade's eyes gleamed with sheer delight.

A whisker twitched, a chubby grin,

He reeled it in with a playful spin.

_ _

A slippery fish, so shiny and bright,

Caught in the chubby cat's sheer delight.

With a purr and a wiggle, he devoured his prize,

Licking his lips, satisfaction in his eyes.

_ _

Belly full, he found a cozy spot,

By the lakeside where the air was hot.

Under the willow, he took a nap,

Dreaming of fish with a chubby clap.

_ _

The sun dipped low, painting the sky,

Marmalade woke with a contented sigh.

As fireflies danced in the moonlit haze,

He waddled home, in a sleepy daze.

_ _

So remember the tale of Marmalade's day,

Fishing, feasting, and lazing away.

A cute, chubby cat with a heart so great,

Living life by the lake, a purrfect fate!
