A Poet from the North uk…Aka George’s Girl

Marie381Uk
Eyes that hold the weight of days,
Stories told in quiet gaze.
A heart that’s weathered, yet unbowed,
A voice that lingers strong and proud.
Through shifting tides and restless years,
She walks beyond her doubts and fears.
Not one for whispers, soft and sweet.
Her words are fire, fierce and fleet.
She does not yield, she does not break,
No dream too lost, no road too late.
Her voice is etched in northern stone,
A tale her heart has always known.
The weight of years may press her chest,
Yet still she stands, defies, protests.
Through winds that howl and skies that weep,
She walks where shadows dare not creep.
No gilded crown, no borrowed grace,
Just fire set deep behind her face.
A poet’s pulse, a rebel’s tread.
She speaks the words that must be said.
