Yes I cried in the darkness.

Confusion by Shiloh McFadden

Death is the sunrise that wakens me,

Love only offers silence,

Nights I cry to the moon light

while the stars yell back with

heavy light beams that make footsteps in my dreams leading me closer to sadness,

What a anniversary I told God.

Why did I fall in love without sight?

Why did you give love to a man

who truly doesn't love himself?

Inadequate strands of my father dance off my tongue as I stutter at my reflection while he holds a gun to my head, “tonight we will kill the misfit that lives inside of us,” tonight we will rise again he tells me.

That night I Iaid in my own vomit

drowning from too much sorrow,

pain in every relationship it seems

my life have escaped from happiness

my heart has been through thousands of emotional earthquakes,

What a senseless scenery of beautiful roses in my field of hopeless dreams,

Yes I cried in the darkness.
