Mara

A man, a dog, video games, and recovery

My dog was named

after a Goddess.

.

It is true. See,

I have a way with the future.

Not magical,

.

not most of the time

I don't think.

.

It's a sub conscious

psychological form of analytics.

.

It's a gift. I can figure

the answer

before

I have thought

of the question.

.

INFJ.

.

I had a feeling

The goddess of love

and healing

might be necessary

sometime soon.

.

And so this Goddess

is named Mara. Skyrim

Of course.

.

This Goddess

wags her tail

.

and though she couldn't win

a fight

against a squirrel

.

she would fight

to the death

to defend me. Her loyalty

.

is absolute.

.

Unconditional.

.

She is the only

creature

on this earth

.

I trust

completely

and implicitly.

.

Her balm

heals,

.

Her presence

.

encapsulates

the trauma

which inspired

the name

itself

.

she does it

as well

as her namesake,

.

an Aedric kiss

enchanted with love

and mercy

when all things

reign

.

fire,

and ash mountain

trembles with terror

and the beasts

.

from House Dagoth

haunt my dreams.
