In the realm of existence, masculinity they ponder,
Does it truly dwell, or is it merely a wonder?
We perceive it as strength, a noble facade,
Yet, is it the essence of a man, or something flawed?
They liken it to wood, unyielding and strong,
Tough, stoic, unbreakable, where it belongs.
Men press it upon others, their peers they confine,
Mocking any act deemed feminine, a restrictive line.
But what if, amidst this search for identity,
We intertwined masculinity with pure serenity?
For in our truest selves, we find happiness's embrace,
Where both masculine and feminine find their rightful place.
Men converse, though not always overtly so,
Seeking solace through activities they know.
"Let's kick a ball," they say, or "swing a club today,"
Understanding the bond that words cannot convey.
Fear clings to us, revealing emotions we hide,
Risking our masculinity, the turmoil deep inside.
Yet, within heartfelt talks, we find a common grace,
Vulnerability met with vulnerability, face to face.
Oh, how peculiar that our greatest conversations unfold,
When we shed our defenses, no longer cold.
We claim freedom, flexibility in being true,
Embracing our human nature, a path we pursue.
No more the division of masculine and feminine spheres,
But human beings, devoid of societal veneers.
If we embraced parenthood's loving creed,
To provide, protect, nurture, and love indeed.
Acceptance becomes the key, both inward and out,
To embrace ourselves and others, beyond any doubt.
In symbolism and hyperbole, a call to transcend,
Masculinity's confinement, and towards a world to mend.
Let us be more human, in thoughts and deeds,
Shattering the illusion of societal creeds.
For in acceptance and love, we'll find our way,
A world where authenticity and compassion hold sway.

Another great poem! Reminds me of something Buddha or a wise man might say! Very zen. Great work!
