Making Daisy chains
Relaxing playing with the flowers

Making Daisy chains
Making daisy chains in the summer sun,
Laughing with friends and having fun,
Tiny fingers threading blooms with care,
Soft white petals scattered everywhere.
The grass felt cool beneath our feet,
The scent of wildflowers fresh and sweet,
We crowned ourselves in rings of white,
Turning simple moments bright.
We gathered blossoms by the lane,
Linking each flower again and again,
No thought of tomorrow filled the day,
Only games and smiles along the way.
Butterflies drifted through the air,
Landing softly here and there,
We watched them dance above the ground,
Chasing beauty all around.
The afternoon stretched long and wide,
With endless fields on every side,
Birdsong echoed through the trees,
Carried gently on the breeze.
Evening painted the sky with gold,
A quiet story being told,
We sat together as daylight waned,
Holding the daisy chains we made.
Time has carried those days away,
Yet memories linger and gently stay,
In fields of gold within my mind,
Making daisy chains, leaving worries behind.
Though the years have come and gone,
The feeling of those days lives on,
A simple joy I still can find,
Making daisy chains in my mind.
