I’m in dire straits.

She has learned the truth,

and entwined our fates.

Oh, how I wish to return to my youth.

Days were simple when I was young.

There were no risks of danger,

until they wanted me hung.

Meeting her was a game changer.

My difficulties never seem to ease.

These horrid secrets of mine,

buzz through my body like bees.

How pathetic, all I can do is whine.

They’re pursuing me for what I’ve done.

If she had only trusted me,

she wouldn’t be forced to run.

Will they stop and hear my plea?

Sinners like me are bound by fate to suffer.

To ensure she doesn’t incur they’re wrath,

I must stand firm and be her buffer.

Today I shall mark the end of this path.

Despite the mistakes I’ve made,

she must trust in my decision.

The debt to my pursuers must be paid.

Now, we must act with precision.
