Magnet Fishing In The Canal
I love watching this on the internet

Magnet Fishing in the Canal
Down by the canal, so still and wide,
I toss my magnet, let it glide.
A pull, a tug—what will it be?
Hidden treasures, calling me.
An old bike frame, rusted and bent,
A piece of chain from where it went.
Bottle caps and a metal key,
Each one a story from history.
The water ripples, the birds sing low,
I feel a thrill with every throw.
Not for riches, not for fame,
But for the joy of the magnet game.
Oh God, call the police, bomb squad,
My magnet’s pulled up something odd.
Yes, of course, I will move far away,
Send help quick—okay, they’re on their way!
It turned out to be nothing dangerous,
But I really thought it was serious.
I think I will go home, call it a day—
I’ve had too much excitement for one day.
